ACEC Distributors Ltd is looking for a reliable and detail-focused individual to join our internal sales and admin team. This is a full-time, office-based position (Monday to Friday) supporting the day-to-day running of the business and helping to keep operations on track.
The role involves a mix of general admin and sales support — ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and is confident managing multiple tasks at once. You'll work closely with the sales team, assist with quotations, and help maintain smooth communication with customers and suppliers.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- General admin tasks like data entry, document handling, and responding to emails
- Answering incoming calls and directing queries to the right team member
- Helping prepare quotes and handle incoming sales enquiries
- Assisting in the development of our lighting control division
- Managing inboxes and making sure customer queries are responded to promptly
- Pitching in with other departments when needed
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years experience in an admin or sales support role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Good computer skills — especially Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience using Sage 200 (a plus, not a deal-breaker)
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Able to multitask and stay on top of deadlines
- Experience in the lighting or electrical industry is a bonus
