Scope of the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Asset Management Intern within the Group IT department. This 3-6month internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate with an interest in IT operations and asset lifecycle management. The successful candidate will take ownership of managing our Asset Management system return processes and support the broader asset tracking function.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting IT Office Administrator on Asset related tasks
- Track and update asset statuses with accuracy
- Communicate with internal users to ensure timely returns
- Follow up professionally on outstanding assets
- Log communications and escalate unresolved issues
- Support improvements in tracking and workflow systems
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams
Essential Criteria:
- Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Capable of handling multiple varied tasks daily
- Prefer experience with MS Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and PowerBI
- SharePoint knowledge is beneficial but not required
