- Maintaining Cleanliness: Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. General cleaning of the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Assisting with Food Preparation: In some cases, kitchen porters may help with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or preparing ingredients.
- Stock Control and Storage: Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries, and managing inventory.
- Waste Management: Handling kitchen waste and recyclables.
- Maintaining Hygiene Standards: Adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards within the kitchen environment.
- Supporting the Kitchen Team: Working collaboratively with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
