Due to expansion O’Neill Law Solicitors a busy law firm situated in New Ross, Co. Wexford are looking to recruit a Legal Secretary/Legal Executive with a minimum of two years’ experience.
Position: Full-time
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a fast-paced office environment, with a legal background, to ensure the smooth running of a busy reception. This role requires overseeing a range of administrative and secretarial tasks with a client-centred focus to include the following:-
- Answering and logging of all calls
- Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
- Deal with client phone/face-to-face enquiries
- Scheduling appointments and the Management of the busy office diary
- Responsibility of the Reception
- Recording of deliveries, post, including client documentation
- General admin work - printing, filing, scanning, post, stationary supply etc.
- Processing and preparation of client files
- Providing administrative support to all staff when required
- Any other duties as required
The suitable candidate will:-
· Have excellent communication and typing skills
· Digital Dictation
· Have competence and empathy in written, phone and face-to-face communications together with the capacity to deal with clients who are in stressful situations.
· Have experience of a case management system e.g. Keyhouse with the ability to deal competently with the administration of client files
· Be capable of creating and amending letters and legal documents
· Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure on own initiative
