WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Plans, coordinates & supervises the IT Logistics operations team(s) on the delivery of safety, service, accuracy and cost KPI’s.
- Be the point of contact within the service for troubleshooting, customer services issues, approvals, first-level escalations, HR activity
- Oversees exceptional performance levels on site across all areas of the operation including, but not restricted to, goods in, processing, inventory control, fulfilment, picking, imaging, dispatch and returns.
- Assist with cross functional management teams to provide the best possible service and cost to our customers.
- Assist with the delivery of IT Logistics Business Plans, KPI’s, values and people processes are delivered and embedded.
- Supports the IT Logistics teams to attract, acquire, retain and develop the necessary talent to continuously improve team performance and capability.
- Prepares reports or documentation to share with key stakeholders to help deliver great service at the best possible cost for the organization and our partners.
- Assists and deputise for the Operations Director with the operational relationships with all third-party partners across the operation, ensuring timely and effective communication with client stakeholders
- Plays a key part in developing best in class operations and share best practice internally
- Ensure all Dublin sites are visited once per week or as required. Maintain only the highest levels of tidiness, cleanliness and organization across all Logistics work areas
- Lead performance management initiatives for all teams & report into the Operations Director.
- Seek out waste reduction initiatives.
- Help create a positive and fun working environment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- 5+ years’ experience leading in challenging environment whilst delivering results.
- Background in Lean is beneficial
- Experience in IT Logistics & asset management would be beneficial
- Experience with manufacturing/production line experience would be beneficial
- Experience in leading teams in a fast pace at a high volume
- Management of a national/regional services with approximately 50-150 full-time associates
- Ability to understand and thrive in high volume work environment during extremely busy peak seasons.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be proactive, data driven and a good anticipated planner.
- Experience managing as a vendor is highly desired.
- Hands-on strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency developing metrics planning (good working knowledge of spreadsheets)
- Degree qualified preferred but not essential
