Greenergy’s core business in Ireland is the importation, distribution and sale of fuel and convenience products. These products are sold to a wide range of customer channels, including industrial, commercial, agricultural, domestic, wholesale and forecourt retail. Greenergy’s acquired Inver Energy 2017 and also Amber Petroleum in 2021. The company has a network of over 115 branded forecourts operating under the Inver and Amber brands and currently operates 18 convenience stores under both a company-owned company-operated model and a company-owned dealer-operated model.

Role
The Logistics & Order Management Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring efficient and seamless operations across logistics, inventory management, customer support, fuel card administration, data analysis, and compliance. Reporting directly to Stephanie Phelan, this position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to support Inver Energy Limited’s operational excellence.
Job Description
The Key roles and responsibilities involved in this role include:
Order and Supply Chain Management:
- Monitor and manage the order process, including scheduling and deliveries.
- Coordinate transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
- Process customer orders from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment.
- Act as the first point of contact for client queries, resolving issues related to orders, scheduling, and compliance.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and other departments to streamline operations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for order management.
Transport Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations, liaising with customers, internal stakeholders, suppliers, and transportation companies.
- Oversee daily schedules, ensuring timely updates and communication.
- Monitor quality, delivery times, and transport costs, making recommendations for optimization.
- Maintain carrier performance and compliance, handling issues as they arise.
- Negotiate with transport providers to achieve cost-efficient and timely solutions.
Inventory Control:
- Manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Track and report inventory updates and dispatch requirements.
- Implement systems to enhance inventory tracking and accuracy.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Compile and analyze data on inventory, transportation, and costs.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for the sales team and leadership.
- Use insights to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Support the development of forecasting tools to predict inventory needs.
Fuel Card Administration:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of fuel card administration, including issuing, tracking, and resolving customer queries.
- Ensure fuel card compliance with company policies and provide timely reporting on usage.
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate billing and account reconciliation.
- Handle onboarding of new clients to the fuel card system and provide user training as needed
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain safety and compliance documentation.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with internal and external standards.
