Responsibilities

The Legal Policy Operations Triage Team is the first point of transfer for credible, specific and imminent escalations to the Emergency Response Team and Child Safety Teams for processing. The LPO Triage team is the first line of defence when dealing with extreme risk on Tiktok. What will I be doing? Triage responsibilities: - Immediate assessment and review of Emergency & Child Safety Livestream content that poses an extreme risk of serious injury or death to a user and /or child abuse or exploitation - Extensive knowledge across relevant policies to enable swift decision making adhering to robust SLA's - Reviewing content, posts, comments, users profiles while assessing the escalation in line with a risk assessment matrix - Record relevant notes and decisions in line with policies and SOP's - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive improvements to policies and processes - The ability to work with sensitive issues that include suicide content, child exploitation, a variety of religious and political views, violence, and adult content - Drive and participate in key projects across Trust and Safety Note: - This role requires you to work full weekend coverage and public holidays due to the necessity of 24/7 coverage during normal office hours at least six months a year. - Mandatory minimum 3 days RTO

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - 1-2 years experience in Trust Safety, Law Enforcement/Government agencies - Fluency in English (written and verbal communication) - Experience with handling and viewing distressing and sensitive content - Ability to perform duties objectively, devoid of inherent biases or personal beliefs - Experience of assessing risk and the ability to think critically and make quick decisions - Experience communicating with cross-functional teams - Experience working independently with sound judgement - Ability to work in a fast paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - You are proactive towards complying with procedures, policies, and objectives set in place and taking a disciplined approach when undertaking tasks - Proven ability to make important decisions independently and multi-task under pressure, responding quickly to changing situations in complex environments without compromising quality - Demonstrate good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
