We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance / Industrial Electrician to join our team, supporting clients across the above regions.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, panels, and components.
Carry out preventive maintenance on plant and machinery to minimize downtime.
Work on PLCs, control systems, and automation equipment.
Perform inspections, testing, and quality checks to ensure compliance.
Provide shift cover as required.
Apply analytical thinking to connect operational efficiency with performance improvements.
Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and compliance at all times.
Collaborate with team members to deliver effective and timely solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Fully qualified Electrician (FETAC Level 6 or equivalent).
Minimum 6 months’ post-apprenticeship experience, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
Experience with PLCs and facilities maintenance is essential.
Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is desirable.
Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Ability to interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Good communication, teamwork, and IT skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safe working practices.
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
