Title: Maintenance Manager

What we are looking for:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a hands-on maintenance or facilities management role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Strong working knowledge of general building trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, roofing, painting, tiling, and general repairs.
- Experience managing both planned (preventative) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites or a large facility.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, including internal maintenance staff and external contractors.
- Experience in developing and managing maintenance schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations, risk assessments, and compliance standards relevant to maintenance and construction.
Skills and Competencies:
- Clear understanding of site health and safety protocols
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong teamwork and reliability

Purpose of the Role:
- Lead the Maintenance Department and ensure a proactive, efficient service is delivered across all restaurant locations.
- Plan and implement a preventative maintenance schedule across all sites to reduce downtime and emergency repairs.
- Take ownership of building and facility maintenance, including tiling, plumbing, drainage, carpentry, roofing, and more.
- Supervise and support the maintenance team and external contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
- Manage maintenance-related budgets, controlling spend on parts, labor, and external services.
- Monitor and prioritize daily maintenance tasks using a tracking system to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Ensure minimal disruption to store operations during maintenance activities through strategic planning and communication.
- Communicate clearly with Store Managers and Area Managers regarding timelines and progress of maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and contractor performance.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are compliant with Health & Safety regulations and internal standards.
- Be flexible with work hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional overnight work based on project needs.
- Drive nationwide to attend to maintenance needs across the network as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Head of Facilities / Operations Manager and responds promptly to all maintenance needs and emergencies.
- Responsible for managing both routine and ad hoc maintenance tasks across all locations.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Expected to work in a safe, efficient manner following health and safety policies.
- Required to build strong working relationships with team members and store-level management.
- May be assigned additional duties depending on the needs of the business.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced, physically demanding, and dynamic. The role requires flexibility, resilience, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a rapidly changing environment.

Pay: €50,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
