Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
POS & Communications
- Plan, develop creative, and allocate monthly POS materials to support our stores. Take ownership from planning to implementation with our design agencies and printers to ensure the effective delivery of marketing collateral to store within agreed deadlines.
- Work cross functionally with our commercial and operations teams on the planning and execution of our monthly promotions.
- Prepare monthly store communications, including briefing documents and marketing updates.
- Prepare Powerpoint presentations for internal updates.
Digital
- Working with the digital team to source and/or develop content for health services and other news items for the website.
- Develop and schedule relevant content for our social media platforms.
- Develop graphics for use on social media/web channels, and in store point of sale using Photoshop, Canva and other systems tools.
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting on digital channel activity with recommendations for optimising our Return on Investment (ROI).
Promotional Campaigns & Events
- Effective project management of store events and local sponsorships from end to end, working with the commercial and operations teams, agencies and other key stakeholders to ensure best in class promotional campaigns and events are executed in store on time and on budget.
- Develop integrated online/offline marketing support plan for each promotional campaign and event.
- Attendance at store events and local sponsorships to ensure best in class execution.
- Analyse and report on each campaign and event with recommendations to the Head of Retail Marketing and the wider team.
- Carry out monthly store visits to check promotional campaigns and POS.
Loyalty Programme
- Work cross-functionally with the marketing, digital, commercial and operations teams to drive loyalty membership and swipe rates in store.
- Work with the commercial team to plan and execute promotions to drive sales and increase loyalty both locally and nationally.
- Assist with design, production, allocation, and distribution of POS for various loyalty campaigns in store.
- Plan, create and execute email and text campaigns.
- Track and report on campaign KPI's to optimise our ROI such as brand awareness, engagement, click throughs and ultimately drive sales.
- Flexibility to travel to different areas around the country to carry out in store staff training on the group loyalty scheme.
Store Support, Administration & Reporting
- Point of contact for stores with day-to-day marketing related queries.
- Provide marketing material to stores as required.
- Report on performance of marketing activity including campaign tracking and KPI reports.
- Responsible for managing the budget, including raising purchase orders, budget tracking and liaising with finance on any queries.
- Proactively engage and contribute to other projects within the marketing team and assist other teams across the wider business units as required.
- Complete any other duties that may be assigned by the Head of Retail Marketing from time to time.

Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a brand/retail marketing role.
- 3rd level qualification in Marketing/Digital Marketing.
- A good understanding of the retail pharmaceutical market is an advantage, but not essential.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), Desktop publishing (Photoshop) and Systems tools (Canva, Brandwatch or similar).
- Experience in social media analytics and other marketing measurement and performance techniques such as Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics.
- Digital marketing expertise and technical understanding of digital channels.
- Photography and Video editing skills are desirable.
- Full clean driver’s licence and access to own car.
- Flexible and hybrid working with regular face to face interactions at the Group’s headquarters in Citywest (Dublin).
