The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a Materials Controller (f/m/d) to support inventory management at a major biopharma customer in College Park, Blanchardstown.
In this multi-disciplinary role, you play a critical part in ensuring that our customers' laboratories are well-stocked. This includes maintaining accurate inventory levels, storeroom management, product retrieval and delivery, and general customer service activities within a GMP-controlled environment.

Working Hours: Day shift from Monday to Friday with flexible starting hours (07:00- 09:00).
The team
As part of a small team of two people, you belong to our department of Lab and Production Services, which supports leading pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.
What we’re looking for
Education
Completed leaving certificate and 1- 3 years of equivalent experience in material handling/inventory replenishment, warehousing, or a relevant field.
Experience
Experience in GMP, cleanroom, or other regulated environments is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and ownership of tasks
Tech savvy – familiar with handheld scanners, Excel, and ideally SAP or other ERP systems
Professional, reliable, and proactive mindset
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
Able to work independently and communicate clearly with on-site stakeholders
How you will thrive and create an impact
Receive, inspect, and document materials following GMP and site procedures
Deliver stock to point-of-use (POU) areas, including temperature-sensitive and GMP clean zones
Maintain accurate records via ERP systems and handheld scanners
Perform cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and support investigations
Assist with returns, disposals, and product traceability
Collaborate with procurement and site teams to ensure stock availability and resolve issues
Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in lean initiatives
Comply with all site EHS and GMP standards at all times
