About The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter:

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, and motors.
  • Responsible for ensuring correct safety procedures, risk assessments, and quality standards.
  • Fault-find and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality work and client support.
  • Provide technical expertise and support on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

Key Requirements of the Mechanical Fitter:

  • Fully qualified Mechanical Fitter (National Craft Cert essential) 5+ years relevant industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance software, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to working independently, collaborating effectively within a team, and leading a team when required.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring) and Laser Alignment is a plus.
