Mechanical Foreman - Full-Time, Permanent (Dublin)
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Foreman to join our team. This is a full-time permanent role that will be predominantly based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team on site.
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the required standard.
- Complete mechanical takeoffs for quantities.
- Deliver performance in line with the project schedule.
- Manage mechanical plant and materials required for your team to complete works.
- Plan ahead for resources and labour allocation for site activities.
- Oversee and participate in all mechanical installations.
- Collaborate closely with all project teams to ensure the schedule is followed and service delivery is excellent.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and report on daily progress, delays, and resource needs.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Support the training and development of apprentices and junior staff.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to technical specifications.
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to planning and coordination efforts.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework.
Skills & Education Required
- At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Mechanical Trade Qualification.
- Proven capability in construction delivery.
- Proficient in IT.
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards.
