Role Description:
We are currently seeking experienced and suitably qualified Medical Doctors to act as Medical Directors on selected ACLS courses throughout the year. This is a sessional role and may suit those with a background in Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics, Critical Care, or Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfil the role of Medical Director in accordance with Irish Heart Foundation (IHF) / American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS course standards
- Support faculty and participants during course delivery
- Oversee clinical governance and provide clinical insight during simulations and assessments
- Liaise with our training team on scheduling and course administration
Requirements:
- Registered Medical Doctor with active registration on the IMC register
- Certified ACLS Instructor (IHF/AHA recognised)
- Familiarity with ACLS course structure and delivery
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
