Term time position
We are currently seeking a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic staff member to join our Afterschool. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and confident in managing activities independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and games
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with parents, children, and the team
- Work independently and confidently manage a group of children as the lead adult in the room when required
Requirements:
- Minimum QQI Level 5 in Childcare (Level 6 or higher desirable)
- Experience working with children aged 4–12 years
- Ability to work on your own initiative and take responsibility for a group
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Two references required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From €18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27.5 per week
