Mainly Weekend Work
May suit college student
Some of the Key Duties include:
- To greet all guests on arrival to hotel and complete check in and check outs in a professional manner
- Maintain all guest accounts
- Responds to guest needs and resolves related problems
- Handles and operates cash as per established policy and procedures
- Take reservations when required and maximise occupancy and revenue on a daily basis by actively up selling
- To have a good knowledge base of the local area and attractions
- Knowledgeable on current information on rates, packages and promotions throughout the hotel
- To be willing to assist in other departments if required.
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry is desirable
- Solid Knowledge of Front Office Procedures & Reservations Systems, working knowledge of HOT SOFT Front Office System would be a distinct advantage, however full training will be provided
- Highly organised with the ability to be flexible with duties and hours of work
- Weekend Work is essential however rotation of weekends off
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term
Pay: From €13.70 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
