Role Title: Port Services Representative

Reports to: Route Manager

Location: Rosslare

Purpose, Context Responsibilities

Purpose

This role is located in Rosslare and plays a key role in the smooth running of our Port Services division of the business. It requires a flexible person who enjoys interacting with the public on a daily basis.

Role / Responsibilities

• 
  Passenger reservations – face to face with customers at the public counter in the terminal building and also supporting our call centres with telephone bookings
• Foot Passenger Check-in
• Freight Check-in from our dedicated freight booths
• Freight Bookings – new and management of existing bookings
• Split Shifts on a 4 day on – 4 day off pattern
• Necessity to cover colleagues annual leave on overtime / time in lieu
• Necessity to have flexibility to service disrupted vessel schedule

Skills / Qualifications / Experience – The Person

• 
  Previous experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage but not necessary

• High level attention to detail

• Must be able to prioritise and organise own workload

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and understand problems presented on a daily basis

• Must be a team player

• Must be flexible with their working hours
