The Merrion, one of Dublin’s finest luxury hotels is recruiting for a Private Dining (Banqueting) Supervisor.

Your role as Private Dining (Banqueting) Supervisor will include:
1. Report for duty in accordance with the times set by the Private Dining Manager.
2. Ensure that all team members are briefed of any daily business and that all the responsibilities are given to the staff.
3. Ensure all the rooms, suits are set up according to the SOP’s set up by senior managers.
4. Ensure all opening and closing procedures are taking place.
5. Ensure all cleaning schedules are maintained.
6. Ensure quality check is carried out during the events and that all guests are satisfied.
The successful candidate will have the ability to be professional and communicate courteously and effectively with guests and colleagues alike. They will have strong guest focus, communication skills, good spoken and written English, multi-tasking ability and enjoy contributing in a positive way to The Merrion Culture. Flexibility in response to guest and business needs is required, no two days are the same!
Shift work & flexibility are required in this position.
