A full-time and permanent position has arisen within Vhi for a Product and Marketing Analyst.
Vhi Multiline is the no. 1 provider of Travel, Dental and International insurance in Ireland and more recently a competitive player in Life insurance. With the strong backing of Vhi Group, Multiline is embarking on a major growth strategy in both existing and new product lines which requires growing the team.
This role is to research and develop actionable insights on our existing and new markets, to understand the drivers of our sales/profit performance and support in driving actions to achieve growth. The role will evolve as our strategy evolves, as we investigate market opportunities and decide which markets/initiatives to prioritise for sustainable growth. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial/marketing/critical thinking skills, working with a strong, dynamic team on crucial and exciting initiatives to grow the business.
The role also offers the opportunity to gain experience in product strategy by working with Commercial Product Managers in key commercial activities, including sales, marketing, product design, pricing and analysis.

Role Purpose
- Produce market and commercial analysis on Multiline products, e.g. analysis on market research, cost benefit analysis, business cases and key commercial decisions; by analysing market data, scenario planning, cost benefit analysis, previous performance
- Support in monitoring Multiline’s commercial performance and KPIs, including working with Finance partners to understand underlying drivers and coordinate profit share reporting process
- Assist in preparation of annual/quarterly business forecasting process with Sales and Finance, e.g., produce market review and membership forecasts based on analysis
- Provide analysis to support commercial decision making across consumer and corporate market segments
- Coordinate market research to estimate size, drivers of customer buying, customer needs and trends for both new and for existing products
- Produce market/competitor analysis including product/benefit comparisons, quote/plan pricing, service offering changes, SWOT and assist team in developing an outside-in perspective
Education & Experience
- Be motivated, proven self- starter and demonstrate alignment to Vhi values
- Relevant third level qualification or 4+ years’ experience in relevant field
- Experience in driving commercial performance
- Demonstrates analytical ability and critical thinking to identify insights
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of cross-functional teams with significant stakeholder management requirements
- Strong communication skills with analytical capabilities to assist in identification, prioritisation and execution of product development opportunities
- Results orientated with the proven ability to take decisions quickly when necessary and the resilience to be challenged
- Ability to analyse issues strategically and scenario plan on this basis Demonstrated alignment to Vhi values
