Job Title: QA Engineer – EDR/AV/RWD

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile QA Engineer to join our EDR/AV/RWD QA team, responsible for validating the performance, stability, and security of our endpoint detection and response platform. This role requires hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing across UI, API, and agent levels. You will be involved in testing new features, verifying bug fixes, and running exploratory and regression tests using a modern, security-focused tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for API, UI, and agent-level components
- Validate bug fixes and new features as part of Agile development cycles
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and edge cases
- Maintain and expand automated test suites using Python, Pytest, and Postman
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure quality across the SDLC
- Simulate real-world attack scenarios using tools like KnowBe4 Ransomware Simulator and MITM proxies
- Monitor and validate system behavior using AWS tools such as EC2, S3, and CloudWatch
- Troubleshoot test and system issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Maintain and configure test environments using Ansible and PowerShell
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a QA role with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in Python and Pytest for building and maintaining automated test suites
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch)
- Solid knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS OS environments
- Experience with network and desktop troubleshooting
- Familiarity with QA tools like Zephyr Scale, VS Code, and source control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC in an Agile environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience testing security applications, especially EDR or AV solutions
- Exposure to load testing or chaos engineering tools and practices
- Familiarity with Java in a testing context
- Experience with MITM proxies and security simulation tools

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
