POSITION SUMMARY
This role within the Quality Control group will support all incoming raw material inspections against site
specifications. The role will cover Raw Material Sampling, FTIR testing, shipping of raw materials to external laboratories and
release of raw materials.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties & responsibilities:
• Raw Material Sample receipt and incoming inspection.
• Inspection of incoming raw materials against site specifications.
• Follow established procedures for all inspection steps, including documenting and following
current GMP guidelines.
• Initiate nonconformance reports for unacceptable materials, and report issues to the
Supervisor.
• Raw Material Sampling and shipping.
• FTIR and other incoming inspections testing as required.
• Laboratory materials restock and organisations.
• Waste management
• Maintaining laboratory records
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Other activities at the discretion of the laboratory manager or designee.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
• Reports to the QC Team Lead.
• Strong working relationship with all QC colleagues, Production, QA, Supply chain, warehouse, and
project personnel as required.
• Working closely with multiple groups for fast-moving projects to ensure proper and timely
communication.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Leaving certificate / FETAC level 6 qualification or better
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Excellent computer literacy / skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion
• Some or all of the following would provide the applicant with a distinct advantage:
o Previous experience working at Incoming Inspection.
o Knowledge of SAP
o Previous GMP experience
• FTIR or other Incoming inspection testing eg wet chemistry
