Roles and Responsibilities:
- To be attentive to the children in your care
- Partake in the efficient day to day running of the classroom
- Implement an emergent curriculum
- Document curriculum making links to Aistear.
- Incorporate Outdoor Play daily
- To work in close co-operation with the manager & the other team members
- Carry out monthly observations
Requirements:
- A recognised childcare qualification (minimum level 7 in childcare or above, salary in line with qualification and responsibilities). Preferably with a knowledge and understanding of the Montessori method
- Enjoy being part of a childcare team
- Use initiative appropriately and exercise responsibility when required
- Good communication skills through English.
- Knowledge of age appropriate curriculum planning
- Experience in a childcare environment desirable
Candidates must hold a minimum FETAC Level 7 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent and be able to work in Ireland.

They will use their initiative to plan a fun and active programme for our school aged children, This will give the applicant the opportunity to develop and advance their skills in this area of expertise of the childcare sector. Rate of Pay is decided on experience and performance and all staff have the opportunity for incremental wages. Candidates must have an energetic personality and be driven by the enjoyment and satisfaction gained from caring for and educating children. Experience is an advantage but not essential.
