McHale are looking to recruit a Quality Technician to join our Quality team in our production area. This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Ballinrobe. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and has the ability to work effectively and independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administration of customer complaints and issuing of supplier corrective actions or returns to suppliers.
- Ensuring that rejected parts are controlled effectively to prevent inadvertent use.
- Reporting of key supplier quality metrics for the department.
- Ensuring all calibration equipment is calibrated, maintained, recorded as per the company’s Calibration Register.
- Prompt closure of daily issues and effective management of assigned CAR’s, ECO’s and customer complaints.
- Updating of standard operating procedures for selected areas /lines.
- Cover for final QA release at dispatch.
- Any requests deemed necessary by the QA Manager.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong IT skills required.
- Engineering qualification desirable or relevant experience
- Confident and assertive communication skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
