Job Summary:
We are looking for an organised and professional Receptionist Administrator full time position. This permanent role involves frontline reception duties, providing excellent customer service, and delivering strong administrative support to the Workshop Manager and Transport Department in a busy, fast-paced environment. Working week : Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 4:30 and Fridays 8:30 to 3:30.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, customers, and telephone enquiries.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Maintain and update booking systems, schedules, and workshop job sheets.
- Provide administrative support to the Workshop Manager and Transport Department, including data entry, filing, invoicing, and document management.
- Coordinate vehicle collections, deliveries, and liaise with drivers and transport personnel.
- Monitor and respond to incoming emails, ensuring timely communication and follow-up.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and well-presented at all times.
- Assist in managing stock and office supplies for the department.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferably in a workshop, transport, or service-based environment).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a busy workload, multitask effectively, and prioritise duties.
- Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and administrative systems.
- Reliable, flexible, and a team player with a proactive attitude.
