We are looking for a compassionate, organised, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Receptionist and Animal Care Assistant (60/40). This is a dual role, combining hands-on animal care with front-of-house responsibilities, to ensure the smooth running of our clinic and the best possible care for our patients and clients. This role will be split between our Arklow and Rathdrum branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception & Client Care
- Welcoming clients and providing excellent customer service
- Answering phone calls, booking appointments, and managing diaries
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with client queries in a friendly and professional manner
Animal Care
- Assisting with the daily care, feeding, cleaning, and monitoring of animals
- Handling animals safely and compassionately
- Supporting veterinary staff during examinations and treatments
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of animal areas and equipment
Skills & Requirements:
- Genuine love of animals and commitment to their welfare
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Organised, reliable, and a team player
- Previous experience in animal care or reception work is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
