About the role
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, as a Regulatory Reporting Senior Associate, you will play a key part in supporting the Prudential Reporting team in delivering quality reporting, analysis and insights on regulatory matters to the Group team and internal stakeholders.
We are seeking an organised, team player with a professional approach. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to be pro-active, a willingness to solve problems and to work on their own initiative.
The role provides excellent exposure to senior management strategic matters as well as affording enhancement of key regulatory experience and skills across CRR, IFR/IFD and ICAAP. In the role, the successful candidate will:
- Lead the continued integration and development of the firms regulatory reporting requirements across a number of frameworks.
- Responsible for preparation of CBI regulatory returns and other regulatory reporting obligations for Group Parent and Group entities.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and project requests from other internal functions and Regulators as necessary.
- Support the production and enhancement of the Firms ICAAP.
- Stay up to date on regulatory developments and changes to regulatory reporting obligations.
- Ensuring data quality and assurance across all reporting activities.
- Work closely with related functions (Group Financial & Statutory Accounting, Operations, Risk and Compliance) as appropriate to ensure consistent reporting.
- Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- 3+ years Regulatory reporting experience in a Financial Services organisation would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of capital, statistical or liquidity reporting under IFR/CRR regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must be numerically accurate with an excellent attention to detail, and strong Excel skills.
- Confident self-starter with the ability to be pro-active and work on own initiative. Comfortable working to deadlines.
- Prior experience in the production of Prudential reporting in a Credit Institution or Investment Firm would be advantageous.
