Job Summary:
This is a dynamic role for a highly organised and enthusiastic REL Driver who wants to work with one of Ireland’s most progressive and fast-growing Waste Management and recycling companies. Previous driver experience and relevant licences are essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre - inspect your vehicle before leaving the company site
- Ensure all collections/ deliveries are made in a professional and timely manner
- To resolve issues/queries effectively and to escalate to relevant departments where necessary.
- Reporting to Transport Manager throughout the day
- Report any Incidents/Accident to the Transport Manager
- Follow route and time schedule
- To establish good working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations
- Report any malfunctions/faults with the truck to the Fleet Manager
- To ensure that the truck is refuelled at the end of shift
- To wash the truck at the end of each shift
- Adhere to all company health and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment issues or safety hazards to the site supervisor immediately.
- Assist with other site duties as required, including general labouring tasks.
- Ad hoc duties as requested.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must hold all relevant C Licence/Driver Digital Card/CPC Card.
- Excellent driving history with accident free record.
- A good level of written and spoken English is an advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts as required.
Pay: €15 per hour, plus €17,50 substance daily allowance
