Role:
Position: Resource Staff
Reporting to: Duty Manager / Operations Manager
Contract: 6-month Fixed-term Contract
Hours: 25 to 30 hours per week, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and public holidays, with some daytime work required.
Locations:
Treatment centres in Co. Limerick, Co. Clare, and Co. Tipperary. This position involves travelling across these locations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist patients at ShannonDoc treatment centres.
- Drive doctors to home consultations when necessary.
- Collect specimens from GP surgeries and deliver them to hospital labs.
- Collaborate with on-duty doctors and team members at the central call centre and other clinic locations.
- Perform basic data processing and administrative tasks using IT systems.
- Manage and control stock levels.
- Assist with the clinic’s appointment diary system.
- Handle patient payments over the phone or in person.
- Complete daily reporting as required.
- Provide call-taking assistance if needed.
- Uphold ShannonDoc’s ethos of flexibility and cooperation.
- Promote a positive image of ShannonDoc at all times.
- Undertake additional tasks within the scope of your role as required.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Valid Full Driver’s License (held for at least 2 years).
- Basic IT skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office being desirable.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive with strong initiative.
- Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills and efficient time management.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Team player with a cooperative attitude.
