Restaurant Supervisor
The award winning Cois na hAbhann Garden Centre in Camolin, Co Wexford are looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in The Bay Tree Restaurant. Daytime Hours Only
The successful candidate must be able to deliver a first class service and have excellent customer service skills. They must also have excellent communication skills
The role requires someone who is hardworking , reliable and who can work in a fast paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant manager with the efficient day to day running of operations of the restaurant while ensuring customer care standards are maintained at all times .
The successful candidate must
- Have previous experience as a Restaurant supervisor
- Have a proven track record in providing an excellent standard of customer service
- Lead by example by working with staff on the floor.
- Must be passionate about good customer service. They will be expected to foster a culture that provides customers with an excellent restaurant experience in a friendly and relaxed environment. They must be customer focused and ensure the highest standards are met.
- Have Strong leadership skills
- Be Enthusiastic, friendly and hard working.
- Be flexible in working hours. Weekend work is included.
- Be organised and able to manage busy service periods
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Implement the company operating procedures, and supervise staff to ensure adherence to these.
- Have HAACP training
- Fluent English, verbal & written
- A can do attitude and ability to work on own initiative
- An outgoing and friendly personality
- Ability to take direction & enjoy a customer focused environment
Main duties
- Training and supervising Staff
- Ensuring all restaurant team members are able to carry out their duties to the required standard.
- Ensuring that all team members adhere to HACCP standards at all times
- Ensuring all customer queries are handled promptly and efficiently..
- Ensuring the team are fully aware of any menu updates
- Practice tight control on all stock and products.
- Ensuring all cashiering procedures are in line with company standards, and tight control is maintained on same.
- Ensuring training is carried out within the department.
- Ensuring necessary procedures are implemented, and communicated to the team effectively.
- Working with staff on the restaurant floor and leading by example.

- Camolin, Enniscorthy, CO. Wexford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Hospitality management: 1 year (preferred)
- Restaurant: 3 years (preferred)
