Tasks
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for working within a 24x7 warehouse/logistics environment providing operations and maintenance services to support a fleet of robots. Expected to be a subject matter expert within the department and will act as a lead and mentor to Robotics Technician I and II employees.
What You´ll Do:
- Leads and sets expectations for safe work practices.
- Provides guidance to level I and II technicians at the site. Acts as a mentor for level I and II technicians and provides training as required.
- Maintains and troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems to Robotics System.
- Provides advanced troubleshooting support including diagnosing and repairing complex problems within the fleet.
- Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots control components, photo eyes, proximity sensors, servo drives, techs, and encoders.
- Utilizes knowledge of the Ethernet communication modules.
- Assists Service Technicians repairing and maintaining material handling equipment.
- Completes preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures.
- Performs battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
- Enters downtime data in daily log, complete sPM sheets.
- Tracks and stores the department's inventory, including spare parts.
- Enters e-mail communication and date entry for database.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements

Qualifications and Experiences:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Technical school certificate or AA in Electrical/Electronics
- 7+ years experience in Automated systems and controls required
- Electrical knowledge of basics components
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages
- Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Basic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook.
