The Clybaun Hotel is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the role of Rooms Division Manager. The Clybaun Hotel is ideally situated between Salthill and Galway City offering excellent leisure facilities and is located on the doorstep to Connemara, The Aran Islands and the Wild Atlantic Way. With 92 spacious en-suite guest rooms, having undergone an extensive refurbishment in recent times.

Responsibilities:

· Overseeing the Reservations and Front Office departments to ensure a consistently high standard of guest service is provided in line with guest expectations.

· Supervising check-in and check-out processes in-conjunction with the relevant managers ensuring maximum efficiency and guest experience remains priority.

· Maintain strong communication lines with other departments across the Hotel.

· Develop and continuously review standard operating procedures, staying up to date on relevant industry trends.

· Review guest feedback and ensure appropriate corrective action is taken.

· Respond to and handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:

· The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in 4* property within front office and rooms.

· Strong working knowledge of hotel property management systems

· Strong team leadership, development and training skills.

· Excellent organisation skills, planning methods and a passion for achieving success.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Positive attitude and outstanding guest service skills.

System Experience:

·Excellent working knowledge of hotel Front Office, Reservations, Guest Services and CRM systems including Opera / Hotsoft, Microsoft Office Suite, Booking engine software (SHR Avvio or similar), CRM & Reputation Management Software (Revinate or similar).
