GALRO provide professional clinical supports and services to vulnerable children and adults. We specialise in intellectual disability and autism .
We are currently recruiting for a Safeguarding Officer to join our team on a fixed term basis.

Person Specification:
- The successful candidate will be of excellent character, with strong professionalism.
- Minimum of 3 years clerical or Social Care experience.
- Has excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and sound judgement.
- Has experience scheduling and records meeting minutes.
- Possesses excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing positively to a collaborative work culture
- Is Garda Vetted (or willing to undergo vetting)

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule meetings and take concise, professional minutes, for safeguarding meetings.
- Compile reports and summaries based on meeting notes and data collected.
- Participate in safeguarding processes, including screenings, communications, and reports.
- Maintain safeguarding data securely and help manage the SharePoint database.
- Generate monthly risk-based reports on accidents and incidents.
- Support a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and high professional standards.
- Liaise professionally with Senior Management, HR, Compliance and HSE Personnel.
Additional Notes:
- Completion of Designated Officer and Designated Liaison Person Training will be required (training provided).
