Sales Apprentice
Are you ready to kickstart your career in sales? Join us as a Sales Apprentice and embark on a two-year journey that blends hands-on sales experience with academic study. This exciting programme leads to a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales, setting you up for success in the dynamic world of sales.
As a Sales Apprentice, you will dive into all aspects of sales and customer service, gaining invaluable exposure and experience. You will develop essential skills in customer engagement, sales forecasting, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making, all while being part of a supportive and innovative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting sales and customer service activities, including analysing employer branding, and engaging with customers to build lasting relationships.
- Gaining a deep understanding of customer behaviour and decision-making, providing meaningful solutions to meet client needs.
- Assisting with sales forecasting, budgeting, and data analysis tasks.
- Understanding legal and ethical considerations in sales.
- Taking part in business improvement initiatives, including entrepreneurship projects that allow you to identify areas for innovation within the company.
- Exploring global sales strategies and presenting research on new market entry.
- Completing a final showcase project focused on identifying a key performance challenge within the company and proposing a solution.
- Continuously expand product knowledge to better understand business needs and proactively resolve issues.
- Assisting and leading projects.
- Operate and manage CRM system efficiently.
- Any other ad hoc duties.
Candidate Profile
- Hold a QQI or higher qualification/ a pass in 5 Leaving Cert subjects (including maths and English).
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and contribute innovative ideas to projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic digital literacy, with an openness to develop proficiency in tools such as CRM software, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms relevant to sales.
- A team-oriented approach, demonstrating reliability, adaptability, and a willingness to collaborate and learn from peers and mentor.
