About the role:
This pivotal role ensures accurate commission payments, validates sales data in Salesforce, and supports the financial integrity of our sales and marketing expenses. You’ll work closely with our Senior Analyst and key stakeholders in Sales, Finance, and Marketing. This is a unique opportunity to combine operational rigor with analytical problem-solving and make a real impact as we grow.
What you'll do:
  • Calculate, validate, and process monthly and quarterly sales commissions in collaboration with the Senior Analyst.
  • Interpret and apply complex commission plans to individual rep deals and performance metrics.
  • Investigate and resolve commission disputes or discrepancies efficiently.
  • Audit and validate sales opportunities in Salesforce for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to policy.
  • Help design and implement scalable processes for deal review and approval.
  • Identify inconsistencies and partner with Sales and Finance to proactively resolve them.
  • Assist in managing and tracking sales and marketing expenses, ensuring correct categorization and budget alignment.
  • Provide reporting and analysis on expense trends, anomalies, and ROI insights.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales Ops, and IT to improve tools and systems supporting commissions and auditing.
  • Help document and evolve policies as sales workflows change and grow.
  • Provide insights to leadership based on data trends and process gaps.
What you bring:
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, finance, compensation, or business analytics.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, Power BI, and Excel; experience with commission/incentive compensation tools (e.g., Xactly, CaptivateIQ) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with sensitive financial data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and present complex data clearly.
  • Self-starter who thrives in dynamic and evolving processes.
  • Passion for ensuring transparency, fairness, and operational excellence.
