About The Role
Security Control Room Operator
A fantastic Opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security Control Room Operator, who will work at our Head Office location in Swords. You must be able to demonstrate and deliver high quality and excellent customer service to both our Clients, Management team and staff alike,
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for actively monitoring the health safety and welfare of all officers across the Estate. To ensure that all book on calls, check calls are made and to ensure that company policy is followed if any calls are missed.
- Using the company’s equipment such as telephones, Access control, Vehicle tracking, CCTV and IT equipment and any other equipment that the company introduces to improve systems, process which increases efficiencies.
- Dispatch alarm activations to the P&R teams including sub-contractors.
- Ensuring you are fully conversant with procedures across our clients Estates
- Protection of the information contained within the Security Control room and always comply with the company policies and GDPR regulations.
- Take inbound calls to the control room and manage accordingly including outbound calls to Clients, Management and staff alike,
- Be confident and capable to Liase with the emergency services
- Follow and implement daily tasks assigned to you by management.
- Reporting accurately and factually on incidents and accidents on the Estate
- Assist management in rostering and covering duties.
- Attend all company training and complete all training modules assigned to you by the company.
Job role requirements:
- PSA Licence - Security Guarding
- Have a minimum of 5 years verifiable history
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry, preferably Have 1+ years’ experience working within a Security Control Room / Alarm Receiving Centre or other security related environment.
- Have a Strong customer focus
- Have the ability to be professional and remain calm in emergencies and when dealing with customers
- Be able to work alone or as part of a team
- Competent level of IT skills in all Microsoft packages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have the ability to multitask
- Have High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work shifts both days, nights including weekends.
- Rates of pay €17:50 per hour rising to €18 per hour after probation + standard ERO rates for overtime. Sunday/Public Holidays
- Sunday rates of €3.44 per hour
