Role/Department:
Based in Dublin and supporting the wider EMEA region, this role involves providing 24/7 local infrastructure support, managing infrastructure projects including global initiatives, and delivering high-level assistance to executives and clients.
Responsibilities also include monitoring technology environments aligned with strategic goals, managing audio-visual meeting rooms, overseeing EUC hardware lifecycle and stock and liaising with senior management.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Provide 24/7 local Infrastructure support in our Dublin office and across other remote EMEA sites.
Run and deliver infrastructure projects, including representation of EMEA on wider Global initiatives.
Provide white glove support to EMEA Executives and Clients.
Monitor and enhance the Technology environment in line with Northern Trusts strategic vision.
Develop relationships with key suppliers, business partners and peers within Northern Trust.
Management of our Audio Visual meeting room environment.
Manage stock levels and lifecycle of EUC hardware.
Liaise with senior management on issues that may affect our EMEA business.
Provide direction and leadership to IT staff based in the Dublin office.
Skills/Qualifications:
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
Technical experience in an Infrastructure role
Experience in the delivery of large Infrastructure projects, including building fit outs
Analytical, problem solving, and client servicing skills are required to provide technical support
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Proven project management skills
Third level qualification within IT discipline is beneficial
Exposure to Cloud platforms
Experience managing and supporting online meeting platforms
