Hederman - Hassle-free Print & Design, also t/a Hederman for Hotels (hotelprint.ie), a dynamic and growing Dublin and Galway based graphic design and print management company that places a very high priority on delivering excellent customer service is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, intelligent and motivated candidate to fill the role of Senior Graphic Designer.
We produce a lot of high quality design and layout job, working for the most part with clients’ existing brand guidelines, but there is the growing opportunity to apply your creative flair. Our clients are mostly hotels and SMEs and we produce mainly stationery, leaflets, brochures, menus, programmes, POS, catalogues, print ads, exhibition displays, signage, eZines, web banners and much more in these main sectors: hospitality, property, retail, leisure, FMCG, education, healthcare, technology and more. Experience in this type of work would be a distinct advantage.
Strong design for print and finished artwork skills are essential and you must possess a very high level of attention to detail and yet be a fast worker who can multi-task and flight check third-party designers’ work for print. You should be organised and be comfortable dealing directly with clients and be happy working independently. You will be tasked with ensuring proper client proofing and sign-off of artwork and with assigning work, where necessary, to freelance designers and need to supervise their work to make sure it is on brand. You will need to have excellent communication skills with perfect written and spoken English (for proof reading).
Min. 8 years’ experience in a design for print environment is essential working with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and Illustrator primarily) and ideally you will have good technical ability managing issues such as fonts, software updates and be organised in managing and filing artwork. Experience in web design and other digital media design would be an advantage (but is not essential) as would a knowledge of MS Publisher, PowerPoint, Word and knowledge of managing design studio hardware and software.

Salary €40,000 to €50,000 p.a. depending on experience, skills and competency. Attractive bonus scheme in place.
