The Arthur Cox Tax Group takes the lead on advisory, transactional and contentious matters or works on an integrated basis with other practice groups in the firm such as corporate, finance, capital markets, real estate and litigation. Key Responsibilities:
- You will undertake a leadership role in the Tax Group.
- You will assist in the development of our responses to tax policy initiatives of OECD, EU, Department of Finance and Revenue Commissioners.
- Conclude on the firm’s position on technical points;
- Supervise the work of the more junior members of the team;
- You will direct the education and training of the junior members of the team.
- Undertake high-level client work across corporate, M&A, securitisation, finance, real estate and disputes.
Requirements for the role:

Accountants and solicitors work together in the tax group and each bring their unique perspective to provide the best, client focused solution.- 6+ years relevant post qualification experience ( in Accountancy (ACA / ACCA/CTA)
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Strong Advisory and Client relationship management skills
- Excellent communication / presentation / project management / time management skills
- Positive attitude, with an ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial awareness.
