We are currently recruiting a Senior MICE Sales Manager to join our team at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend morning briefing with M&E Team when on site, support M&E Team on Conversion
- Work collaboratively with other sales channels
- Conduct monthly quota of site inspections
- Manage the Sports Market for the hotel
- Understand and actively utilize company marketing initiative/incentives to close business
- Attend networking events and overseas tradeshows and sales missions for the MICE market and where applicable.
- Work with Local DMCs to arrange US Direct Sales Missions.
- Develop and manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports.
- Generate new leads from Creation reports and Lost Business Reports.
- Manages the annual performance management process, in line with the Leadership Capability Framework
The successful candidate will have:
- Hospitality Management/BSC
- Have a real understanding of hotel operations
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
- Previous 4/5* hotel experience.
- Passion, energy, enthusiasm.
- Good presentation and influencing skills
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask many projects/ initiatives at once and adhere to tight timelines.
- Key focus is the US market - assist in larger pieces of business from ROW on occasion and when needed
- A structured and organized approach to work planning
