We are currently seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Dairy Enzyme Application Team. In this role, you will lead the application development of new enzyme products for the dairy industry, acting as both a project manager and subject matter expert. You’ll work cross-functionally with global teams, support key customers, and guide the scientific direction of enzyme applications through lab and pilot plant trials.

Key responsibilities
- Lead dairy enzyme application development for new product innovation
- Serve as subject matter expert for Kerry’s dairy enzyme portfolio
- Manage global cross-functional projects, including customer collaborations
- Plan and execute laboratory experiments and pilot plant trials
- Support intellectual property efforts, including patent filings and cases
- Contribute to innovation scouting and competitor benchmarking
- Travel up to 10% for customer engagements and internal meetings
Qualifications and skills
- PhD in Biochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Dairy Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in enzyme research or application, ideally within dairy
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of taking products from concept to launch
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Experience in patent writing and a working understanding of patent legislation
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
