We are a leading supplier and installer of commercial refrigeration, bar, and catering equipment across Dublin and the greater Dublin area. We work with some of the biggest names in hospitality, providing installation, service, and maintenance solutions for pubs, hotels, and restaurants.
We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Service Co-ordinator to join our team. This role will involve supporting our field engineers, managing service requests, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently to the highest standard.
Responsibilities & Duties
Service Support
- Provide office-based support for customers and work closely with the current service team.
- Log service requests and reactive calls on our in-house service system.
- Schedule and plan work for service engineers, ensuring prompt response times.
- Liaise with customers, engineers, and suppliers to identify and source spare parts.
- Provide back-office support to engineers and customers, ensuring jobs are followed through to completion.
- Escalate urgent cases and follow them up efficiently.
- Assist with arranging tools and resources for specific jobs.
- Process completed paperwork/tasks to close jobs promptly.
Installation & Project Support
- Assist in planning installations to ensure efficient delivery and setup.
- Provide and discuss installation requirements with engineers before delivery.
- Schedule engineers and check training requirements for installation projects.
- Support the Service Manager and engineers to maximise chargeable work and minimise non-chargeable activities (such as warranty costs).
Skills & Experience
- Ideally (but not essentially) previous experience in a service office role, preferably supporting engineers in the field.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional phone manner.
- Good IT/computer skills, including use of scheduling or CRM systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Technical knowledge of refrigeration, catering, or similar equipment is an advantage but not essential.
