Job specification
We are seeking a Shift Maintenance Electrician w/ Mechanical abilities who has worked through and has an understanding of Electrical Maintenance Procedures on complex Production Line Equipment.
Ideally, candidates should have 4-5 years maintenance electrician experience together with a proven ability to work multi-skilled with maintenance & operations teams.
Suitable candidates must have a minimum qualification to Fetac level, City & Guilds or equivalent. They must have a proven knowledge & ability of programming & fault-finding on PLC’s, an ability to read & modify electrical drawings, an ability to carry out minor electronic repairs together with a knowledge of the current safety regulations & practices.
Applicants should have a minimum qualification of the ECDL standard on computer operation and also have had exposure to identifying, ordering spare parts and working with a modern CMMS system.
The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines is essential.
An exposure to Energy Conservation methods & energy measuring equipment though not essential would be valuable.
The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern and elements, working 5 on and overtime is as and when required.
