Join Our Team as a Site Coordinator – Based in Monaghan, Ireland
We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a Site Coordinator to become part of our dynamic Operations team at our Monaghan site. This is a full-time role (39 hours per week) with a competitive salary and the chance to contribute to innovative construction projects.
In this role, you’ll be a key link between our internal teams and external partners, providing essential on-site support to principal contractors and subcontractors, while ensuring smooth coordination across business operations. You’ll assist the Site Operations Management team in overseeing the on-site control of the erection of Off-Site Engineered building systems. To succeed, you’ll need to be a motivated and adaptable individual capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of our Site Coordinator
- Auditing of works completed by subcontractors, ensuring adherence to the quality control requirements are implemented and recorded.
- Ensuring adherence to the adopted health and safety requirements on site by the subcontracting team.
- Keeping projects on time in a fast -paced environment including the coordination of logistics , material take off and onsite coordination with the main contractor.
- Using the information provided in drawings and tender packages, ensure delivery of a product to the technical and contracted specifications provided.
- Engaging with inhouse technical teams to request and provide information to subcontractors, supervisors, clients and consultants.
- Provide accurate record keeping of project progress, implement compliance through auditing, preparation of work schedules and have a commercial awareness .
- Coordination of Health and Safety Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work Plans with main contractors
What we are looking for in our Site Coordinator
You will have:
- On-site experience within construction/engineering industry, with trade or project management background
- Possess effective communication and problem solving skills ,with the ability to work both on own initiative and within a team
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Excellent inter-personal, communication and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of MS products
Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:
- Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Strong experience working with and managing Sub Contractors
- Experience in Digital Project Delivery
- AutoCAD
- Experience in the use of EDM /Total Station required for setting out, as built surveying.
