Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Knowledge of architecture.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach the team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and career development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. Recruit and hire engineers to grow the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, plan delivery, mitigate risks and communicate updates. Plan, prioritize, and manage the team's workload to ensure timely delivery of projects. Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Advocate engineering best practices, establish and improve team processes for collaboration. Drive technical decision-making and ensure the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Identify and drive improvements to the team's operational posture and processes.
- Identify, plan and deliver improvements for customers. Develop team roadmap and strategy to meet organizational goals. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the team and the organization.
