The Opportunity:
As a Solar Service Technician you will produce bespoke solar PV designs for domestic homes and complete and submit technical reports regarding each installation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for evaluating technical suitability of materials and equipment.
- Interpret site photographs, field surveyor notes, and satellite imagery to remotely assess properties for solar PV system suitability.
- Develop material schedules and take-offs from drawings.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems for our solar installations.
- Generate or refine roof and ground mount layout drawings based on remote assessments.
- Manage solar preventive maintenance (O&M) customer relationships.
- Offering a high level of technical support to all customers
- Oversee RMA handling, including detailed recordkeeping, inbound/outbound tracking of RMA equipment.
Requirements:
- Prior solar PV and/or electrical & Plumbing experience an advantage.
- Previous administrative experience within a construction or electrical company.
- Solid technical and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of Irish building regulations would be an advantage also.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule efficiently.
- Physical fitness and comfort with working at heights (training will be provided if necessary).
- Proactive problem-solving mindset.
