Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in solution engineering.
- 3 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
- 3 years of experience in system architecture and reading code (e.g., Python).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
- Experience with community involvement, volunteering or mentorship.
- Knowledge of public clouds including platform and infrastructure as a service.
- Ability to lead and organize the design and implementation of AI-based custom developed cloud solutions.
- Ability to educate on behalf of the Google Cloud Platform.

As an EMEA Solutions Architect with a focus on Security and Infrastructure Modernization, you will create and publish reference architectures, code samples, and decks to help the customers solve their security and infrastructure issues. We work with a variety of teams from Solution Management, Product, and Customer Engineering to create technical materials for GTM motions. - Facilitate technical discussions with customers, partners, and Googlers.
- Provide subject matter expertise around public cloud, security, and Infrastructure, and promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online.
- Support account managers and Sales Engineering teams as needed through all phases of customer engagement.
- Create and deliver recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations adapted for technical and business stakeholders.
- Provide customer and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help support product outlook.
