Job Summary:
The Royal Marine Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional and customer-focused Spa and Health Club Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing a warm welcome and exceptional service to all guests and members using our spa and leisure facilities. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and relaxing experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in guests and members in a courteous and efficient manner
- Handle bookings, cancellations, and inquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Maintain accurate records of appointments, memberships, and payments
- Promote spa treatments, packages, and retail products
- Ensure the reception area and surrounding spaces are clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Liaise with therapists, fitness instructors, and other departments to ensure seamless service
- Handle guest feedback and resolve minor issues or escalate as needed
- Follow all health and safety procedures and hotel policies
- All Health Club and Spa related operational tasks
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all areas of the Health Club and Spa.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, ideally in a spa, leisure, or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using booking systems and Microsoft Office
- A professional, well-groomed appearance and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
