What you will do
The PGIM Real Estate Information Systems team is seeking a full-time Business Analyst focused on test automation. The successful candidate will work with a high performing and diverse team that supports PGIM Real Estate’s Global Debt Business including loan origination, asset management, portfolio management and servicing functions. The Business Analyst role will work alongside the Product Owner and Engineers to build automation use cases for the Omnia platform, our proprietary cloud-based application used across PGIM Real Estate’s Global Debt Business.
The Business Analyst will work closely with Product Owners to identify and prioritize functionality requiring test automation. The incumbent will work to streamline/automate processes, while working with a significant amount of independent authority and judgment. The business analyst will ensure that critical business processes are covered by automated tests, support defect logging and triage, and write clear acceptance criteria to guide the automation team.
What you can expect
- Collaborate with Omnia Product Owners to identify and document Epics and features requiring test automation.
- Prioritize automation efforts based on business impact and criticality of previously deployed Epics.
- Write detailed and clear acceptance criteria for automated test cases.
- Support the defect management process by logging, tracking, and triaging defects identified during automated testing.
- Closely work with Product Owners, engineers, and QA to facilitate communication between product, development, and automation teams and ensure alignment on testing priorities and requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide input on automation coverage and progress.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in application modernization or software testing environments.
- Experience working with Agile teams and practices.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and prioritization.
- Familiarity with defect management and triage processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Test automation tools (Selenium)
- Agile processes and tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Experience managing detailed user stories and technical details for engineering.
- SQL and data analysis
- Leadership Skills:
- Experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail, delivering high-quality solutions and designs.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving project requirements.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, with effective team building and conflict resolution practices.

- Prior software development experience is a plus
