Purpose of the role:
To provide temporary maternity leave cover for current Stock Control/Administrator.
To perform various manual and computerised duties associated with Deliveries, Stock Control and administrative duties within the Production sector of KTFs Timber Frame Housing Manufacturing environment.
To assist managers with day-to-day operations and to be responsible for Timber and Stock deliveries working in accordance with Company Health and Safety and Quality Control procedures.
Reporting to: Production Manager
Role Responsibilities:
- Be willing to Learn – Listen and learn from other experienced members of staff
- Be willing and able to work on your own initiative safely and as part of a Team
- Be able to work strategically and efficiently by prioritising workload in order to assist with meeting daily factory production targets and deadlines
- Be willing from time to time to be part of special tasks/projects as reasonably required of your job role.
- Be responsible for all timber and stock deliveries that enter the yard, including safe storage, stock control and stock rotation.
- Be responsible for scanning and uploading all delivery dockets to the Drive.
- Be committed to carrying out your duties to the best of your ability, having consideration for the needs of your colleagues, the Organisation and its clients/customers.
- Be responsible for the equipment provided to you for use in your job role
- Adhere to all of the organisation’s policies and procedures and the law
- Use any safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment provided when on the factory floor.
- Report any H&S issues, concerns, near misses to H&S Officer immediately.
- Familiarise yourself with all Emergency Procedures, Fire Drills, Fire Assembly points, First Aiders on site and First Aid Room and First Aid Points on Factory Floor
Hours: Mon-Thursday 7am – 4pm & Fridays 7am – 2.30pm
Salary: Dependant upon experience
**Minimum 2years+ experience in a similar stock control position
