SPAR Ennis, Lifford Rd Co. Clare, is looking for a Full Time Store Supervisor to join their busy store.
Must be able to work full time Monday to Friday. Very little weekend shifts involved.
The role:
Supervise the activities of retail sales team on a daily basis and ensure necessary tasks are completed to an appropriate level
Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times
To delegate and communicate effectively with the retail sales team
To supervise the effective induction and training of all employees
To communicate sales performance to the team
Assist the store manager in the recruitment of high calibre retail sales assistants
Assist the store manager in the effective management of Retail Sales Team performance
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess many of the below attributes:
Familiar with epos systems
Previous supervisory experience is beneficial
Operational knowledge of retail environment
Excellent interpersonal relations
An understanding of consumer needs
Understanding of labour law, health & safety regulations, HACCP, and consumer law
Commercial acumen with the ability to anticipate and react to market changes
Committed to continually improving standards
Self-motivated & ambitious
Computer skills
